Fox by the Lake is collaborating with Damian Kemp at BearWolf Studios to bring human creativity, craftsmanship and an eye for detail into our new product offerings. A new product is taking shape, with a launch targeted for Q4 2026.

At Fox by the Lake, we love what technology makes possible. But we’re equally interested in the things that make a design feel considered: an original idea, a distinctive visual style and the small details that someone has taken the time to get right.

That’s why we’re excited to be working with Damian Kemp at BearWolf Studios.

The idea behind the collaboration is simple. We bring the AI tools and the ability to turn ideas into working products. Damian brings the pencil, the creative judgement and the eye for detail.

Together, we’re exploring what happens when those strengths shape a product from the very beginning.

More than pressing “generate”

For us, AI should give people more room to contribute to the creative process.

It can help us explore possibilities, develop ideas and refine how a product works. Human imagination gives that process direction: deciding what deserves attention, what needs another pass and when something feels right.

BearWolf Studios’ portfolio brings together illustration, motion, retouching and visual effects. Those disciplines offer a natural complement to the technology we’re building at Fox by the Lake, bringing another perspective to how a product looks, feels and comes to life.

We want that creative direction to influence the product itself. The early sketches, the questions and the choices about what to keep all have a part to play in shaping what we build.

The pencil belongs at the start of the process, not just at the end.
